Every once in awhile I’ll make an exception for one of my brides or if my schedule allows it, so don’t hesitate to contact me if you’re desperate for a session, but it’s not guaranteed. So if you really, really, REALLY want a boudoir session with me, this is it for 2013! After these sessions are booked, I’ll start booking January 2014.

She came prepared with tons of goodies and apologized profusely while unloading all of her bags. I quickly stopped her because I LOVE when clients go all out. Styling a shoot is one of my favorite parts about boudoir photography. Choosing which earrings to wear, what spot to use with each look, posing, helping to quickly pin hair into a French twist … it’s all part of why I love what I do.

We had a lot of fun with all her accessories, but my favorite image from her entire session didn’t need much at all.

This simple silhouette takes my breath away. This mom of four is simply stunning.

I think he’s going to know when he opens his birthday present to find her boudoir album!

One of the best parts about these sessions is hearing the explanation my clients come up with about where they’re going to be. Melissa traveled from Mifflinburg under the guise of “work training.” But really she stopped at a salon for some hair and makeup pampering (fun and always pays off!) and spent the afternoon with me.

She said she loves the vintage look and came prepared with a few great pieces including an absolutely lovely lingerie bodice and a 70-inch strand of pearls. Paired with black thigh-highs, I immediately envisioned something really soft and romantic. There are a ton of magazine-worthy closeups of her in this pose, but I couldn’t resist sharing this overhead shot for her sneak peek.

She and a friend traveled from Gettysburg, went shopping before her session and made a fun little day trip out of it.

When I asked about her wedding, which is only a few short weeks away, she was unexpectedly calm about it. She’s ready.

And she even thought to buy lingerie in her wedding colors so her surprise boudoir album will match. How awesome is that?
